South Carolina native, Brooke Price, brings eight years of experience in emergency medicine and family care and a passion for wellness and aesthetics to the team at Koniver Aesthetics. A Board-Certified, Family Nurse Practitioner by trade, Brooke’s acquired knowledge of facial anatomy and the skin’s inner workings translates to beautiful, radiant skin for all her patients.

Brooke has a passion for helping people and building meaningful connections and relationships with those in her personal and professional life that drive what she does and motivates her to continue learning and sharing that knowledge and experience with her patients and friends.

After nursing school, Brooke took a job in an Emergency Room. “There is always a need for emergency care, and I was eager to help,” said Brooke. “But sadly, I learned the ER can be a thankless world – a revolving door of people you never see again. It would break my heart at times. We would help people get through some of the most difficult moments in their lives and never hear from them again. We’d never know if we had improved their lives in the long run.” Brooke knew her skills would be better utilized elsewhere, so she pursued her Family Nurse Practitioner certification and eventually found herself in wellness and aesthetics.

“If the ER is one world, wellness and aesthetics are the other sides of the coin,” Brooke said of her experience moving from reactive care to the preventative care and maintenance offered at a medical spa. “Being healthy is a gift and a choice. When patients are eager and happy to see you, it’s easier to set goals, see results, and make changes that will positively affect their lives.”

“The skin is the largest organ in our body, and how it looks and feels can make or break a person’s confidence and outlook on life and health,” said Brooke. “The absolute best part of what I do now is handing my patients the mirror after treatment and getting to see their faces light up. Sharing that joy with them never gets old!”

In fact, as a person who puts happiness first and has excellent taste in music, Brooke is no stranger to hosting small, celebratory dance parties with patients on return visits. “Whitney Houston’s I Wanna Dance With Somebody is in my regular rotation,” said Brooke.

Brooke loves consulting with her patients and creating a customizable plan that can include neurotoxins, dermal filler, and skincare products. As a Nurse Practitioner, she brings her deep understanding of biology and anatomy to the collaborative team at Koniver Aesthetics. “Everyone here is trained and talented in their way and so supportive of each other,” added Brooke. “My patients can trust that I’m bringing 100% of myself to the job, and if they need something I can’t provide, there is someone on the other side of the door who has an answer.”
